National History Museum

|
Bulgaria's past was at times bloody and gruesome, and though things calmed down a bit recently, it was still, to say the very least, eventful. Whilst that was never really much fun for the people living during those times, it makes for fascinating stuff for us modern folk. The National History Museum is therefore a must see for anyone remotely interested in the past, and those with interests in the Thracian, Byantine or Ottoman periods will kick themselves if they don't come along. The museum is usually host to several simultaneous exhibitions which tend to run for at least 6 months, so check their website for the latest information. |
