King of Burgers Comes to Bulgaria
Bulgarian fans of the Whopper will only have to wait until June 2008 to get their hands on the mighty burger. The first two Burger King restaurants in Bulgaria will both open in Sofia in June, one located in the City Center Sofia shopping centre, and the other at the Varna shopping centre, the latter opening officially on June 12th.
The Burger King franchise is owned by AmRest, which is based in Wroclaw and also operates Burger King restaurants in Poland. The Burger King restaurants follow the opening of the first KFC restaurants in Bulgaria in 2007, also operated by the AmRest company.
