International Calls in Bulgaria Get Cheaper
The prices of the international phone calls in Bulgaria go down from April 1 under a new pricing of the Bulgarian Telecommunications Company (BTC).
Calls to the USA, Canada, Israel, Russia, Germany will cost BGN 0.30 (VAT not included) per minute. The cost of transatlantic calls so far was BGN 0.72.
According to the new pricing village calls prices will go up by 21.1%, the long-distance calls prices' go down by 19%, and the international calls' prices - down by 14%.
Customers will have to pay a BGN 0.11 tax (VAT not included) for each phone call they make, regardless of the call's distance.
Currently the customers pay BGN 0.09 per an impulse. A workday impulse is 4 minutes, and an off-peak impulse - 9 minutes.
BTC new pricing envisages free minute calls in the off-peak hours between 9 p.m. and 7 a.m., as well as on weekends and on official holidays.
