Two Bulgarian men from the city of Russe were arrested on charges of numerous Internet frauds, police said Friday. The suspects were a phantom computer gear company, Eurotek EOOD, and have reportedly tricked people from the UK, Canada, Poland, India, Pakistan, and Romania. Victims were making online orders for computer hardware and paying USD 300 to 600 each, then receiving nothing in return. According to the Eurotek website, the firm was a manufacturer of blank recordable CDs and DVDs. "We also offer computer hardware components, assembled desktop systems and custom tailored assembling of PCs for any specific needs," the fraudulent company profile says. "We guarantee fast communication and good prices for small and large ordering," the website also says.
