Central Railway Station

The Central Railway Station of Sofia is the stopping point for most people travelling to Sofia by rail. It is the city's main passenger rail station, and the largest one in the country. Its location 1 km north of the city centre and close to the Central Bus Station makes it convenient to get anywhere in Sofia from the Central Railway Station.

Just watch your bag - lots of dodgy characters around. In fact there are lots of dodgy characters pretty much everywhere in the city. I am sure having all those casinos and slot machines around doesn't help
